Before making the commitment to business ownership, Stephanie held the position of Marketing Communications Coordinator for a local precision tool company. With responsibilities ranging from advertising and web maintenance to trade show planning and public relations, this career stepping stone provided a solid foundation in the skills required to be a successful entrepreneur.
On a daily basis, she interacted with customers throughout North America to coordinate and produce customized, brand specific promotions. Additionally, she worked with regional sales staff on the development of all in-house sales and marketing collateral. Through this experience, she was able to sharpen her skills as a creative professional all while learning the technical aspects of an advanced product line.
Earlier in her career, Stephanie held the position of Art Director/Graphic Designer for the niche product department at the local newspaper. During this time, she was responsible for all concept, design and production of several monthly publications including PG Magazine, which is still in circulation today. She also created numerous advertisements, promotional materials and templates utilized throughout the chain of corporate owned newspapers. Along with her daily design duties, she frequently assisted in copywriting and proofreading as well as collaboration with peers to develop new products and marketing strategies.
