Milestone Birthday Invitation

Every now and then we are asked to create a custom party invitation. Milestone birthdays, weddings, showers… we love them all! Any reason to flex those typography muscles is a good one, at least for this type nerd.

The guest of honor, who would be celebrating his 80th birthday, shared his time, talent and love for carpentry with his family. As a tribute to this, we were asked to incorporate this theme into the style of the invitation.

The final piece, which we had printed on our favorite warm white paper stock, was framed and given to the guest of honor as a keepsake.
